Welcome to Sphynx Pals Cattery! We are located in Naples, Florida and are the only Sphynx breeder in Southwest Florida. We breed Sphynx cats exclusively.

We were first introduced to Sphynx cats seven years ago, when we adopted an orphaned 4-year-old boy. We have severe allergies to cats and dogs, but wanted a pet. Our Veterinarian and close friend suggested we try adopting Mr. Naughty into our home, as she was sure he would be allergy free to us. She was right! 

Of course we still have to wash our hands before we touch our eyes, but otherwise we have no allergies to him at all! And now with several cats, we are still allergy free. The cats sleep right by our faces with out any problems! 

Even our daughter, who has asthmatic reactions to other animals, is okay. Although not everyone is allergy free from Sphynx cats, in general those with common allergies to cats will not experience allergic reactions. It is also good to remember that you can build up tolerances to allergens given time - a slow introduction and time for tolerance, may be the way to go for those who do experience allergic reactions to even these cats.
